Brian and I took a mini-trip to Florida this week to visit his granny in the hospital. (We were only gone Thursday and Friday) Granny is doing pretty good, considering and we had a safe uneventful trip there and back. Because we got back later on Friday night, we decided to leave Saturday morning for a one night trip to High Falls. YAY!!
I love camping out. I love being outside. I love sleeping outside. I was as giddy as a school girl from the moment we decided to go, until the moment we got home.
It was the first camping trip for the boys, and they loved every minute of it. They got to explore waterfalls and hiking trails, they got to play on a playground with other children, they roasted marshmallows, stayed up late, and woke up with the sun.
After we finished breakfast, we took all the kids fishing. Nope, didn’t catch anything…but there is always next time.
